Imperialism has caused lots of changes in Africa since the 19th century when King Leopold established trade with Africa in the Congo. Many European nations started what is known as The Scramble for Africa, where they fight over it's lands and territories. Nowadays, we can see imperialism has increased wars, economic crisis and migration. The news that are showed right here from the right side are from the present year. Today Africa suffers from diverse problems such as no women rights, desnutrition, violence, and poor economy.

Africa Divided among European nationsSince the 15th century Europeans already traded with Africa but htere were very few colonies. In the 19th century Egypt became the strongest muslim nation exporting cotton and both Egypt and Africa traded gold, ivory, and pal oil.
In 1914 all Arican territory was taken by one or other of the European nations that fought for land. The Berlin Conference was one cause of this, which was in 1884 yo 1885 and led Europeans divide land among each others. The Berlin Conference also was an event made to avoid war and to create a political and economic Africa.
